Beam Safety Clips are designed to reduce the risk of a beam disengaging from the upright of a frame. These clips are made from high tensile steel with an electroplated process to reduce rusting. When the beams are installed, the Beam Safety Clips are locked into position on each connector.
A Beam Safety Clip has a mounting clip secured in a recessed slot of the frame and a locking pin biased into another recessed slot of the frame such that the locking pin may be pulled clear of its recessed slot against bias while the mounting clip is blocked against its removal. The clip is removed only when the pin is held clear of the slot and the entire clip is lifted up and out to disengage from the frame.
